We’re looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Manager for our client, a well‑established East Midlands private property portfolio holder, to lead the day‑to‑day upkeep, repair, and compliance of their buildings. This is a key role for a proven maintenance professional who will ensure facilities remain safe, fully operational, and maintained to a high standard. You will take responsibility for managing maintenance teams, coordinating contractors, and delivering consistent, high‑quality facilities services across the portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and managing all maintenance operations, including planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance
  • Overseeing repairs, refurbishments, and building improvement projects
  • Managing and coordinating maintenance teams and external contractors
  • Conducting regular building inspections and resolving issues proactively
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and building standards
  • Managing budgets, procurement, and cost control for maintenance activities
  • Responding to emergency maintenance issues with minimal disruption
  • Maintaining accurate records, compliance logs, and maintenance reports
