Responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out reactive maintenance on commercial buildings, including repairing leaks, fixing doors/locks, and making good on areas of repair.
- Execute small and minor works projects, such as refurbishing rooms and offices.
- Replace existing fixtures (doors, locks, sinks, basins, toilets) with like‑for‑like items.
- Upgrade floors where required.
Qualifications:
- Certificates or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing (City and Guilds or similar).
- Good skills in other trades (painting, patch plastering, tiling) and ability to perform DITY tasks.
- Experience in multi‑skilled trades – essential; no training provided at start.
- Open to time‑served tradespeople, general builders, or qualified builders wishing to move into maintenance.
- Development of skills offered after settlement and passing probation.
