ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, high tech business seeking to expand its electrical engineering team by hiring an experienced and enthusiastic electrical build engineer / senior electrical technician. The successful candidate will have experience working in a highly productive assembly environment and a strong background as an Electrical Build Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high technology business.

Responsibilities

  • Construct electrical assemblies, looms, and harnesses.
  • Conduct electrical testing.
  • Offer electrical support both on‑site and off‑site as needed.
  • Fault finding.
  • Build individual components as well as handle larger production batches.
  • Keep detailed records of assembly and testing progress.
  • Document any instances of quality non‑compliance and escalate as necessary.
  • Assist with field installations, modifications, and maintenance domestically and internationally.
  • Work collaboratively.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.

Experience Required

  • Electrical NVQ 3 or equivalent or equivalent working experience in the electrical industry.
  • Experienced Electrical Technician / Electrical Fitter.
  • Strong build experience of electrical machines.
  • Experience in wiring.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Good eye for detail and take pride in high quality workmanship.
  • Experience working in a highly productive assembly environment.
  • Skilled with workshop tools and machinery used in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in handling electrical equipment.
  • Experience working in a tight team environment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Able to travel.
