Your Role as a Materials Testing Technician:
- You will be field based, predominantly covering a region but with further UK travel as needed.
- You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of testing equipment and instrumentation (impact, tensile, universal, fatigue, stress, and torsion testing).
- You will work within a variety of appealing manufacturing sectors including aerospace, automotive, and medical industries.
- You will play an important role in ensuring the equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained to UKAS standards.
- Compile detailed reports as appropriate.
- The field‑based nature of the role will require nights away from home, on average 1–2 per week.

- Knowledge of destructive materials testing equipment – impact, tensile, universal, fatigue, stress, or torsion testing is essential.

- Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 is beneficial.
