As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various pump systems on customer sites. You'll work both independently and as part of a wider engineering support team, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and equipment is running efficiently.
- Servicing and repairing centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on-site
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Installing and commissioning new pump systems
- Providing technical support and advice to customers
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation
We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background and proven experience in field-based work. Ideally you will have:
- Experience working with industrial or commercial pump systems
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
- A background in field service, maintenance, or installation engineering
- Good understanding of hydraulics and rotating equipment
- Full UK driving licence
- A self-motivated approach and strong customer-facing skills
- IPAF Certification
- Confined Space Training
- 18th edition Electrical Competency
