Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Bridgwater
We are seeking a multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance on state‑of‑the‑art production machinery. The role offers full training and development within the company and manufacturing systems and an excellent starting salary.
Role
The successful candidate will carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on a range of machinery, including pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps and other mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include:
- Planned maintenance and PPM set‑up
- Reactive maintenance across the facility
- Project installation work on a project basis
Qualifications & Requirements
- Mechanical Maintenance experience
- Mechanical qualification (essential)
- Experience working within manufacturing or a related sector (e.g., FMCG)
- Successful completion of a mechanical apprenticeship
- Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
