Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Trainee Fabricator to join our growing team based in Braintree. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on individual with experience in bespoke fabrication, working across a variety of materials including metal, wood, and plastics.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate bespoke cabinets to precise specifications
- Work confidently with metal, wood, and plastic materials
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD designs
- Operate machinery
- Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensure high standards of quality and finish in all products
- Collaborate with the wider team to meet production deadlines
Work Environment
Work Environment: This is a workshop‑based role, manufacturing specialist products primarily for the pharmacy and medical sectors. Attention to detail and quality is essential due to the nature of the end use.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cabinet making or similar fabrication role
- Ability to use CAD design packages (but not essential)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
