About the Role

We're working on behalf of a major UK infrastructure business delivering long-term highways maintenance and improvement works across a key regional contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, or a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with industry exposure, to join an established commercial team and gain hands-on experience across live infrastructure projects. You'll be involved in the full commercial lifecycle, from early-stage project input through to final accounts, working closely with operational teams and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting commercial management of projects from pre-contract to completion
  • Assisting with subcontractor management (tendering, awarding, valuations)
  • Supporting monthly CVRs and forecasting
  • Working towards agreement of final accounts
  • Building relationships with internal teams and clients
  • Ensuring processes are followed to minimise commercial risk

Qualifications

  • Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or similar (or working towards)
  • Some industry exposure (placement, or 1-3 years experience)
  • Interest in infrastructure, highways or civil engineering projects
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
