We are currently working on behalf of one of our clients who are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Manager on a legacy PCSA cladding project based out of their Hertfordshire office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS looking to gain valuable exposure on a specialist construction project while working closely alongside an experienced commercial lead.
The Role
- Supporting the Commercial Manager across all commercial aspects of a live cladding project
- Assisting with subcontractor management, valuations, variations, and cost reporting
- Working within a design & build contract environment
- Supporting procurement and commercial administration
- Helping to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Good understanding of Design & Build contracts
- Previous experience within construction or specialist subcontracting desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
