About Us: Component Process & Repair Limited based in Bognor Regis West Sussex is a specialist gas turbine component repair facility. Due to an increasing orderbook and long term growth plans, we are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator.
As a Welder Fabricator, you would be reporting to the welding supervisor. The candidate would assume responsibility for all aspects of welding and fabricating of components for repair. We are ideally looking for a candidate that has had experience in aerospace component repair and a general background & knowledge of TIG welding; however, training and certification would be supplied for candidates that can prove good levels of TIG & fabrication.
The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for the following:
- Repair of components using sheet metal fabrication including planishing, forming and general hot and cold working.
- Repair of components using TIG, including preparation of defects and the post dressing of welds.
- Repair and fitment of studs, pins, and inserts, new parts into the repaired component.
- Be able to pass weld test pieces to qualify as a coded component welder.
