Electrical Engineer (Static) β Blackburn Β£41,000 - 37 hours a week
A leading FM provider has a need for an experienced Electrical Engineer to come and join a well-established static contract based in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company renowned for their internal progression, training and long term stability.
On offer is a competitive salary working Monday β Friday, 07:00 β 15:00, 37 hours per week.
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Helpdesk; including but not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment
- To participate in the emergency call out rota as required
- To carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access equipment and PPE will be provided
- Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner
As the role involves working on plant and equipment, it is essential to demonstrate a good working knowledge of general and emergency lighting, power distribution, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, including but not limited to:
- Power distribution
- Air handling units & fan coil units
- 3 phase systems
- Emergency lighting
- Building management systems
- Fault finding & diagnostics
Qualifications:
- Full electrical qualifications to a minimum β City & Guilds or equivalent
- City & Guilds / NVQ β Electrical Installation or Maintenance
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Building services knowledge
