Poolhall Recruitment is working with a growing residential developer to recruit an experienced Site Manager. This is a hands-on role managing multi-trade teams across active sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll be joining a collaborative and fast-paced setup with a strong pipeline of residential schemes across the West Midlands.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations on residential developments
  • Supervise and coordinate multi-trade operatives and subcontractors
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and budget expectations
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance on site
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety checks
  • Monitor progress and report to senior project stakeholders
  • Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Ensure quality control and snagging processes are effectively managed
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal teams as required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential construction
  • Strong background managing multi-trade teams on active sites
  • Good understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site logistics
  • SMSTS qualification
  • Valid CSCS card (Black/Manager level)
  • First Aid qualification
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to drive programmes and maintain site standards under pressure

Location & Working Pattern

  • Site-based role across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands
  • Must be able to commute to regional sites as required
