Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Shift Electrician to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. We are looking for a Shift Electrician who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
- Complete electrical installations and assist tradespeople with wiring, calibration, and alignment tasks.
- Carry out testing, fault diagnosis, repairs, and updates to maintenance work orders.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to optimise reliability and maintainability.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures—no live working permitted, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, attend toolbox talks, and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls.
