Representing a Leading Facilities Management Client, Calibre Search is working in partnership with a well-established facilities management provider who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the addition of a PPM Engineer in the Midlands Region. This is a field-based role focused on carrying out pre-planned maintenance across a portfolio of retail sites. It's ideally suited to engineers with a background in refrigeration, air conditioning, or general HVAC – though full training is offered for candidates with transferable skills from electrical or mechanical disciplines.
The Role
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Work on a variety of systems, including central plant, integral systems, leak detection units, and alarm panels
- Operate independently across your region, with support from a wider team
- Maintain accurate service records and adhere to all health & safety regulations
- Represent the client in a professional manner on customer sites

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, or similar building services (HVAC/Electrical/Mechanical)
- F-Gas certified (or willing to work towards this – training provided)
- Comfortable working on central plant systems (experience with RDM alarms or CO? systems advantageous)
- Flexible, self-motivated and holds a full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in retail or supermarket environments is a plus
