- Production Engineer
- FMCG | Birmingham | Up to £50,000 | Monday to Friday days
Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing processes across the site.
- Develop and lead improvement and reliability initiatives across production.
- Support and contribute to the continual optimisation of production assets.
- Work collaboratively across operational teams to ensure production targets are met.
- Use data to identify failure issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to operational teams on new processes and production assets.
- Work with current and also highlight new suppliers when sourcing materials.
Qualifications
- Experienced engineer with proven experience in a technical role such as Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Reliability Engineer, or CI Engineer.
- Ideally degree educated, with Level 3 apprenticeship as a minimum.
- Manufacturing background with demonstrable knowledge in manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards.
- Strong problem‑solver who uses data to highlight issues and areas of improvement.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and enjoys working with others to get the best results.
