We have an immediate requirement for 1 Manufacturing Technician II - Washroom to join a well‑established life sciences manufacturing site based in Birmingham. This is a 6‑month temporary assignment, working full time. The role supports the manufacture of critical diagnostic products within a regulated production environment.

What the Work Involves:

  • Performing washroom duties that service the entire building, including cleaning and preparation of equipment
  • Owning and completing scheduled activities for designated equipment and areas
  • Managing inventory, ensuring materials are available and correctly transacted
  • Accurately completing documentation and ensuring work is completed right first time
  • Following GMP procedures, SOPs, and quality standards at all times
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvements

This is a hands‑on role suited to candidates who take pride in quality and compliance.

Hours, Shifts & Pay:

  • Shift pattern: Days only - Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30
  • Pay rate: £13.53 per hour (£28,142.40 salary equivalent)
  • Overtime: Available
  • Pay frequency: Weekly
  • Holiday pay: Accrued and paid weekly

What We Need From You:

  • Previous washroom or GMP experience required - full training provided
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate, with basic experience using Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Able to multi‑task, prioritise, and work independently
  • Strong attention to quality, compliance, and accuracy
  • Right to work in the UK (documentation required before start)
