A leading Midlands‑based Active Fire Protection provider is looking to expand its operations and is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer based in the Birmingham area. This role will focus on the servicing, maintenance, remedial works, and repair of a wide range of fire alarm systems, fire safety equipment, and life‑safety systems across the South East. Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair fire alarm and fire detection systems
  • Carry out remedial works and minor repairs on life safety systems
  • Fault finding, diagnostics, and system inspections

  • Participate in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer or Fire Safety Engineer

  • Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel across London and the South East

Desirable Experience

  • Fire alarm commissioning
  • Smoke ventilation testing, installation, or commissioning experience
