We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Fabricator / MIG Welder for a permanent position installing steelwork on secure government sites, including prisons. This is a stable, full-time role offering regular overtime, a company vehicle you can take home, and long-term career security.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld structural steelwork including security doors, gates, grilles, handrails and staircases
  • Work accurately from technical engineering drawings
  • Assist with on-site installation across secure sites
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a fabricator / welder
  • MIG welding experience essential
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check (essential due to secure sites)

Hours & Benefits

  • Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
  • Regular overtime available
  • Company vehicle provided (take-home)
