Pebble Recruitment is representing a well‑established Environmental Consultancy based in Birmingham, actively seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join their growing team. The firm prides itself on high quality services, client and employee well‑being, and a strong focus on project sustainability. The successful candidate will work closely with the Birmingham ecology team and assist with protected species surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking protected species surveys
  • Building tenders and creating complex quotations
  • Producing complex technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, Habitat Management Plans, BREEAM reports, HRAs and EcIAs)
  • Managing medium to large‑sized projects and tracking financial progress

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 protected species licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ability to apply it correctly

Remuneration and Benefits:
