Our client is seeking a Drainage and Infrastructure Engineer to support their growing infrastructure team across the UK. This role will focus primarily on drainage design, with exposure to highways, pavements and earthworks strategy.

The successful candidate will support the technical delivery of civil and drainage engineering projects, including fluvial and highways schemes, while also contributing to project planning, site activities and technical design delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer at or approaching intermediate level looking to develop their technical capability within a highly collaborative and sustainability-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical civil and drainage engineering design work
  • Support drainage and infrastructure projects across a range of sectors
  • Assist with detailed drainage modelling and design development
  • Contribute to Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) design
  • Support highways and fluvial engineering schemes
  • Undertake site visits and technical assessments
  • Assist with bid and tender preparation
  • Provide guidance and technical support to junior engineers
  • Ensure all work is delivered in line with quality and safety standards

  • Awareness of safety in design principles

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

  • Knowledge of the Specification for Highway Works
  • Experience using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
  • Experience with earthworks modelling packages
