The Company
My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of fast-moving manufacturing industries. They have over 100 employees on site in Bromborough. With a growing presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become a centre of excellence within a variety of food machinery solutions to the manufacturing industry. Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional software PLC engineer.
The Role
The main role of the Project Engineer is the link between the Sales & Engineering Departments. The company supplies processing and packaging equipment to the food and pharmaceutical industries throughout the UK and Ireland. In recent years, we have been asked to provide more of the production line, which means linking and combining our equipment together from different suppliers. The main objective for the Project Engineer is to complete projects on time, to the correct specification and to budget. Occasional travel will be involved throughout the UK & Ireland and occasional visits to suppliers in Japan, South Korea and the US for PDI’s with Customers. Good communication skills are essential as the role involves liaising with the Sales Department, Customers and the Engineering Department.
