Location: Berkeley, Gloucester

Project Overview: We are seeking experienced LV Cable Installers / Electricians for work on a new build 132kV substation project in Berkeley, Gloucester. This is a dead working environment only as the site is not yet energised, therefore no special authorisations are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of LV and multicore SWA cables
  • Glanding and terminating SWA cables
  • Testing and inspection of installed cables
  • Installation of cable containment systems including Tray, Conduit, Ladder rack
  • Working safely within a substation construction environment

Requirements:

  • ECS Card essential
  • Previous experience with LV and SWA cable installation
  • Experience working within industrial, utilities, energy, or substation environments
  • Ability to read and work from drawings
  • Strong understanding of safe working practices

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • 1 hour lunch break
