Responsibilities
- Technical Support Engineer dealing with a range of heating solutions such as boilers, heat tanks and renewable heat pumps.
- Acting as first line technical support to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations for all queries relating to central heating products.
- Offering technical support to internal stakeholders.
- Fielding inbound telephone queries and providing appropriate solutions.
- Carrying out product training and familiarisation for both colleagues and customers.
- Prompt and accurate reporting to the Customer Care Manager.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Must have experience within the plumbing, heating and renewables sector.
- Knowledge specifically in renewables, heat pumps and air sourced heat pumps is ideal, however open to other related fields.
- May be open to one of the following or closely related: engineer, installer, technical support, technical engineers, technical advisors.
- Positive telephone manner with the ability to resolve customer queries in a professional manner.
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Stable career history.
