Responsibilities

  • Technical Support Engineer dealing with a range of heating solutions such as boilers, heat tanks and renewable heat pumps.
  • Acting as first line technical support to merchants, contractors, installers and housing associations for all queries relating to central heating products.
  • Offering technical support to internal stakeholders.
  • Fielding inbound telephone queries and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Carrying out product training and familiarisation for both colleagues and customers.
  • Prompt and accurate reporting to the Customer Care Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience within the plumbing, heating and renewables sector.
  • Knowledge specifically in renewables, heat pumps and air sourced heat pumps is ideal, however open to other related fields.
  • May be open to one of the following or closely related: engineer, installer, technical support, technical engineers, technical advisors.
  • Positive telephone manner with the ability to resolve customer queries in a professional manner.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Stable career history.
