Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Junior CAD Technician to join their Civil Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious CAD professional with 1-2 years' experience who is looking to develop their technical expertise and gain exposure to a broad portfolio of infrastructure and development projects.
The Role
- Working closely with experienced Engineers and Senior Technicians, you will assist in the production of high-quality technical drawings and 3D models for a variety of civil engineering schemes.
- Projects typically include highways, drainage, infrastructure, site development and external works from concept design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Producing technical drawings and design models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Assisting with the design and detailing of highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes
- Preparing site layouts, sections, levels and construction details
- Supporting engineers with project delivery and design coordination
- Ensuring drawing outputs comply with company and project standards
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and CAD records
- Contributing to the development of BIM and digital design workflows
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience in a CAD Technician role within a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment
- Proficient in AutoCAD with working knowledge of Civil 3D
- Understanding of civil engineering design principles and infrastructure projects
- Experience producing technical drawings for highways, drainage or site development works
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, CAD or Construction-related discipline desirable
