Senior Site Engineer / Engineering Surveyor
Banbury - HS2

MGR Recruitment are representing a leading civil engineering contractor on their prestigious heavy civils project in Banbury, forming an integral part of HS2.
The scheme covers earthworks, roadworks, viaducts and bridges.
This is a genuinely long-term opportunity on one of the country's flagship infrastructure programmes, with work secured until at least 2030.
It is also a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working, which is rare on a project of this scale.
The Role
- Setting out across earthworks, structures and roadworks
- GNSS surveys
- Establishing and maintaining survey control
- Checking the setting out and coordinates of other surveyors on site
- Producing as-built records and supporting the wider engineering team
What We're Looking For
- A valid CSCS card - this is mandatory
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer or Engineering Surveyor
- A minimum of 2 years on heavy civil engineering projects in the UK
- Confident with total stations and GNSS equipment
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances on a busy live site
