We are recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer in Banbury for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established business that invests in its people and offers a competitive salary of £60,000.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults and PLC's Fault finding.
- Minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food manufacturing standards.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
About You
- Apprentice trained or hold a recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
- Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
- Previous experience within food manufacturing or another fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PLC fault finding is advantageous.
- Flexible to work a rotating three-shift pattern.
