We’re working with a leading utilities contractor turning over circa £60m, delivering projects across the UK. With over 20 years of experience, the business partners with leading housebuilders, local authorities, and main contractors, and has built a strong reputation as an award‑winning organisation within the utilities sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit two Assistant Quantity Surveyors to join their commercial team.
The Role
Supporting senior members of the team, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure across a range of live projects. This is a role where you’ll be trusted, involved, and given real responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost reporting and project forecasting
- Supporting subcontract procurement and administration
- Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Cost Value Reconciliations
Requirements
- 18 months+ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- JCT or NEC knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive, team‑focused attitude
