An independently-owned UK construction consultancy is recruiting for an Assistant or Intermediate-level Quantity Surveyor to join their central London team. The business has multiple UK offices offering services including Cost & Project Management, Building Surveying and Health & Safety consultancy.

The QS / Cost Manager will be joining an experienced cost management team working primarily on fit-out and refurbishment projects for well-known companies in the Retail sector, and some Education schemes. They will work across all pre- and post-contract stages of projects with duties including cost estimating, tender documentation, procurement, contract administration, variations, claims and final accounts.

The offices are located in the City and the company has a hybrid working policy. There will be some travel to client sites across the South East required occasionally. The company can provide full APC support and 1-1 mentoring to become chartered.

Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or similar, and at least 12 months experience in a quantity surveying position, ideally working for a construction consultancy. The role is paying between £45,000 - £60,000 depending on level of experience, plus benefits and bonus.
