A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Assembly Technician to join a world-renowned high-tech manufacturer in the High Wycombe area. On a day-to-day basis, the Assembly Technician will be building high tech instrumentation, following clear work instructions, you will carefully build and test their complex products. This role would suit an Assembly Technician who possesses both mechanical and electronics assembly experience, ideally with scientific instrumentation or complex medical devices. If you enjoy complex electro-mechanical builds, in a high-tech, low volume manufacturing environment, then this really is the opportunity for you.

About you:

  • The successful Assembly Technician will ideally be qualified with a Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, BTEC, HNC or HND.
  • Will have held a similar role in a similar environment.
  • Solid practical knowledge of skills such as mechanical assembly, electrical and electronic assembly, wiring looms, soldering, surface mount soldering and bench assemblies.
  • Can support the implementation of changes.
  • 5s discipline and mindset.
  • Has flexible range of skills across cells & products.
  • Positive & professional attitude to work.
  • Drives a quality culture.
  • Can work with a team and independently.
