Are you an experienced TIG Welder looking to join a precision engineering environment where quality, flexibility and employee development are valued? We are recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturer supplying high-precision components into highly regulated industries, including aerospace.

The Role

  • Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating precision components to exact specifications, ensuring all work meets stringent quality and customer requirements.
  • TIG welding thin gauge and precision components
  • Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Welding stainless steel, aluminium and other specialist materials
  • Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy
  • Working to strict manufacturing and quality procedures
  • Supporting fabrication and assembly activities where required

What We're Looking For

  • Proven TIG welding experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail and quality standards
  • Experience producing high-quality precision welds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly Desirable

  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Experience working to AS9100 quality standards
  • Experience within a NADCAP accredited environment
  • Previous experience welding aerospace components
  • Relevant welding qualifications or coding certifications

Hours of Work

  • Standard Working Week - 36 Hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:15
  • Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
  • 30-minute lunch break
  • Alternative 4-Day Week Available 36 hours across four days
  • Typical hours 07:00 - 16:30
  • Flexible start times available by agreement

Overtime

  • First 10 overtime hours paid at Time and a Half
  • Additional overtime paid at Double Time

Salary & Benefits

  • Up to £18.50 per hour depending on experience
