This is a fantastic opportunity for a professionally qualified Architect who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of the role — leading design projects from concept to completion and managing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.

The Role

As an Architect, you’ll take responsibility for the design, specification, and delivery of a variety of projects, ranging from smaller-scale refurbishments to large, complex developments. You’ll have the opportunity to lead design teams, liaise with clients and consultants, and ensure all work meets the highest professional and regulatory standards. You’ll be involved at every stage — from feasibility and planning through detailed design, tender, and on-site delivery — ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver architectural design projects in line with current standards and regulations
  • Manage projects through planning, building regulations, and listed building consent
  • Coordinate and guide multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Oversee and review the work of external consultants to maintain performance and quality
  • Provide specialist architectural and technical advice across teams
  • Ensure compliance with design standards, health and safety, and sustainability principles

Key Requirements

  • ARB-registered Architect (membership of RIBA desirable)
  • Proven track record in architectural design and project delivery
  • Experience managing projects through all stages of design and construction
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, standards, and best practice
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of the residential sector advantageous

What’s on Offer

  • Salary between £35,000 – £45,000, depending on experience
  • Opportunity to lead and shape a diverse range of design projects
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment with strong professional development focus
