Roles & Responsibilities

  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on cookers, ovens, fryers, stoves
  • Perform installation of new catering equipment
  • Work independently in a field‑based role across the southern half of Wales
  • Travel directly from home to customer sites, with occasional visits to the main site (every 1-2 weeks)
  • Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining strong client relationships

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Gas Service Engineer (commercial or domestic background considered)
  • COMCAT 1-5 qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Good communication and customer‑facing skills
  • Open to a more junior engineer who will receive good training to develop their skills
