Quality Inspector on required by growing manufacturing company, for their site in Amersham. The successful Quality Inspector will have a hands-on role inspecting precision machined components and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
- Operate CMM equipment and generate inspection reports
- Identify and report non-conforming products
- Raise NCRs where required
- Support production with first-off and in-process inspections
- Maintain accurate quality records and traceability
- Conduct goods-in inspections when needed
Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following
- A background in a Quality Inspector role gained within a manufacturing/engineering or equivalent environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of GD&T
- Hands-on CMM experience
- Proficient with micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges and other inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
