Senior Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000 + Overtime + Bonus (OTE £65k+)

Hampshire (within 50-mile radius)

Role

  • You’ll be the go-to engineer on site-handling complex faults, supporting junior engineers, and ensuring high standards across service and maintenance work.
  • Service, maintenance & fault finding on commercial refrigeration & AC systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers.
  • Assist with commissioning and system optimisation.
  • Work independently across customer sites.
  • Participate in a 1-in-7 call-out rota.
  • Use Simpro system for job management and reporting.

What They're Looking For

  • F-Gas Category 1.
  • Strong background in commercial refrigeration & air conditioning.
  • Proven experience handling complex faults and large systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and support junior engineers.
  • Based in or around Hampshire.

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • CO₂ experience.
  • Commissioning experience.
  • Experience with Dixell XWeb / monitoring systems.
  • Previous mentoring or supervisory experience.
