The company are a manufacturer in Alcester manufacturing high-precision fabricated and machined metal components for the aerospace, defence, and power industries. They are seeking to recruit an NDT Technician for their operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection operations (DPI & Visual) in accordance to procedures
  • Ensure NDT equipment is maintained and suitable for the operation
  • Conduct control checks and tests in accordance to procedures
  • Interpretation and evaluation of test results against defined acceptance standards
  • Generate work instructions
  • Manage workflow to meet production requirements
  • Prepare and authorise product test reports
  • Conduct test and inspections to ensure product is complying with customer product specifications and definitions
  • Ensure parts are processed in accordance with business work priorities on an as timely basis

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous working experience in an NDT technical capacity
  • Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings
  • Must be familiar with quality and manufacturing standards and maintain and achieve specified targets and objectives in line with business requirements
  • Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
  • Strong team player

The role is Lates – Monday to Wednesday 4.30pm to 2.30am – Thursday 4.30pm to 1.30pm. The company offer a clean, modern and friendly working environment, staff social events, on site parking. The role is based in Alcester so is commutable from Redditch, Studley, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Stratford upon Avon, Worcester.
