Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Location: RAF Marham, Norfolk
Role Type: Permanent
Salary: Β£36,443 + benefits & relocation support potential
Aircraft Mechanics required to provide support to the F-35 Fleet based at RAF Marham.
4 Day Week Mon - Thurs! Hours: 07.15 - 17.00.
Candidates would need to hold British and have lived & worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for SC security clearance.
What the role of the Aircraft Maintenance Technician entails:
You will be undertaking a range of maintenance on an aircraft which may include, as appropriate, aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements and/or functional/system test
Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments and that all airworthiness records are maintained
Make sure all activities are appropriately documented and identify and report any issues and upscale as appropriate
Procedure/Standards - Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards
Safety Management System - You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance
Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) - Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system
What experience you need to be the successful Aircraft Maintenance Technician:
Experience of EASA/MRP Part 145
Experience of working on military aircraft programmes
Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent military qualifications
Academic qualification for this role is a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds 2675 or 2661.
