A leading automotive manufacturer supplying high‑end lighting systems to luxury and supercar brands is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to join its NPI Quality team. This role plays a key part in ensuring flawless new product introduction, driving APQP activity, and delivering robust BEON/PPAP submissions across multiple customer programmes. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and control all APQP documentation through to PPAP approval for new programme launches.
- Execute PPAP submissions for customer‑driven and internal engineering changes.
- Interpret and apply customer‑specific PPAP requirements.
- Oversee quality‑related gateway tasks and ensure compliance with latest customer standards.
- Act as the internal customer for BEON/PPAP deliverables.
- Support Run at Rate and 2DP activities to ensure safe and stable product launch.
- Participate in gauge design reviews and acceptance processes.
- Provide statistical analysis support during product maturation phases.
- Produce monthly PPAP/BEON status reports for management.
- Support D/PFMEA and DFM reviews.
- Escalate risks and delays affecting BEON/PPAP submission targets.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive effective problem resolution.
- Support Supplier Quality in cascading customer‑specific requirements.
- Act as point of contact for customer project quality concerns and milestone reviews.
- Contribute to lessons‑learned workshops across the product range.
