Randstad are recruiting a Site Manager to oversee the construction of 150 new build properties (2, 3 & 4 bedrooms) in Cheshire on a freelance basis. Our client is one of the leading house builders in the UK, known for delivering high-quality homes for their clients.
The Role
- Managing assistant site managers
- Coordinating trades and materials
- Reporting to the contracts manager
- Controlling quality of works from subcontractors
- Conducting site inductions & toolbox talks
- Working at a fast pace against a programme
- Monitoring health and safety standards, ensuring a high level of safety on site
Skills and Experience
- Experience managing projects with at least 50 houses
- Previous experience in the new-build housing market for 5+ years
- Keen eye for details
- Ability to provide quick and effective solutions
- Strong communication skills
- CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid certifications
- Trades background would be advantageous
