Quantity Surveyor
Mission Resourcing are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Barnsley or Bristol who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team.
About the Business
Our client is a leading structural steelwork specialist designing, manufacturing, and constructing a wide portfolio of projects for various clients.
About The Offer
Salary up to £80,000 per annum

Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including but not limited to:
- Analysis and agreement of sub-contract documentation, including terms, conditions, warranties, and bonds.
- Investigation, preparation, and submission of variations, claims, and measures for interim valuations and final accounts.
- Monitor and compile project cost and revenue performance, including cost and cashflow forecasts.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice within the business and to external clients.
- Agreement of sub-contractor accounts.
- Attend sites nationwide to liaise with clients and sub-contractors.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within the structural steel industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Must have experience working within the construction sector, preferably structural steel, with a minimum of 5 years\’ experience.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as HND or degree are desirable.
- Professional membership of RICS would be an advantage.
