We are looking for Offshore Methods Engineers to support pipeline landfalls. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Administer the working programme to ensure its implementation in accordance with plans, design and specifications.
- Interpret, implement, and improve proposed design solutions.
- Initiate and maintain filing system, document review and distribution through subordinate staff.
- Monitor and coordinate all phases of work progress and review procedures, reports and calculations of subordinate engineers, ensuring deliverables, equipment, facilities and services meet specified requirements.
- Ensure technical coordination with the client, including attendance at interface meetings.
- Coordinate with the technical responsible on board the vessel and provide backup to the installation team, advising the vessel management on technical aspects.
- Ensure all checklists and installation records are completed according to procedures and passed to the QC Coordinator.
- Participate in critical offshore tasks to ensure their performance according to methodology and provide feedback and lessons learned.
- Attend sites and carry out inspections to confirm all requirements have been met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction methods activities for pipeline landfall in the Energy or Oil & Gas industry.
- Relevant degree or diploma.
- Certificates: OEUK medical.
- Technical skills in team management, pipeline methods, landfall methods.
Location
Surrey, with possible offshore trips when required.
Contract Details
- Duration: 6‑12 month contract, start ASAP.
- Work pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
