Senior Civil Engineer required for an independent multi‑disciplinary engineering, environmental and project management consultancy based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a growing consultancy delivering a diverse range of residential, commercial, industrial, environmental and infrastructure projects across the UK.
The successful Senior Civil Engineer will take a lead role in the design and delivery of civil engineering schemes from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and internal design teams. Projects include large‑scale residential developments, commercial and industrial schemes, hotel and leisure developments, environmental restoration projects and major data centre developments.

Job Overview
- Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects
- Produce and review drainage, highway and infrastructure designs
- Design in accordance with British Standards, DMRB and Sewerage Sector Guidance
- Utilise Civil 3D, InfoDrainage and other industry software packages
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors and stakeholders
- Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial delivery
- Attend client, design team and site meetings
- Supervise site investigations, trial holes and visual inspections where required
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Assist with proposals and business development activities
- Ensure compliance with internal quality management procedures
Job Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' consultancy experience within civil engineering design
- Strong knowledge of UK design standards and codes
- Proficient in Civil 3D, InfoDrainage and AutoCAD
- Experience delivering drainage, highways and infrastructure projects
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and programmes
- Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with ICE or equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
