Responsibilities:
- Installing roof-mounted solar PV systems using various mounting systems, adhering to roofing best practice guides throughout
- Carry out essential roofing tasks such as slate and tile removal or replacement, flashing work, waterproofing and general maintenance to ensure long-lasting installations
- Run the cables/conduit and work alongside the PV Electricians, and other team members to deliver efficient and safe installations for the clients
- Support the Electrician with the commissioning of the Battery Storage and Charging Systems
- Uphold safety procedures at all times whilst maintaining a professional customer experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience installing Solar PV Systems on residential or commercial properties is an advantage but not essential
- Proven experience as a Roofer with strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
- The ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication skills
- Completed an apprenticeship or traineeship approved by SVQ
- Full UK Drivers License
