THE ROLE
My client is a firm of engineering consultants with offices across the U.
They are seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate with one to two years of post‑graduation experience, design experience, and structural analysis skills to join the Leeds, West Yorkshire team.
You will work with a leading consulting firm on a range of building structures, including offices, retail, residential and industrial projects.
The client offers excellent training and support for you to work towards chartered status.
THE COMPANY
The client is a firm of engineering consultants working on a wide range of projects that includes building structures, infrastructure, transportation and more.
They have multiple UK offices and provide strong support for those wishing to become chartered with the ICE.
- THE CANDIDATE
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Three years or more experience designing infrastructure for residential, retail, industrial, commercial, education and other projects.
- Experience with underground drainage systems and road design to adoptable standards.
- Experience liaising with statutory bodies such as Water Companies, Local Authorities and the Environment Agency.
- Proficiency in Civil3D and Auto CAD.
- Strong technical analysis and design skills.
- Ability to provide technical support for report writing and presentations.
- Willingness to attend design and site meetings and conduct site inspections.
- Previous experience with a UK firm of consulting engineers.
- Full clean UK driving licence for remote site visits.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with contractors, consultants and clients.
- PAYMENT & BENEFITS
Salary ranges from £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience, plus pension and a suite of benefits including training toward chartered status, a personal health care plan, life insurance, 25 days holiday and other perks.
