Purpose of the Job

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas/Heating Engineer to support operational housing maintenance services across housing stock and corporate properties.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair works in line with works order specifications.
  • Undertake individual or joint gas installation and maintenance tasks within the allocated area of work, in accordance with current RAMS/SSOW procedures.
  • Maintain all necessary qualifications, training, competency, and Gas Safe registration.
  • Complete reports/certification, order materials, and request follow-on works using mobile devices.
  • Work independently or as part of a team across Responsive/Emergency Services, Routine Service/Maintenance/Testing & Inspection, Planned Installation & Remedial Works, Void Works.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Gas Safe Registration
  • Relevant qualifications/accreditations: CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, CENWAT1, MET1, HTR1, Range Cookers, Unvented Hot Water
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to travel between sites
