About the Role
As a Gas Heating and Breakdown Engineer, you will carry out gas servicing, diagnostics and repairs in our customers' homes. You will work independently across your patch, supported by a strong team and equipped with everything you need to do the job well.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out gas servicing, diagnostics and breakdown repairs
- Work on a range of domestic gas appliances
- Deliver excellent customer service and aim for first-time fixes
- Follow all health and safety requirements
- Keep van stock organised and equipment in good condition
- Complete job notes and reports accurately
- Travel across your patch and occasionally to other areas when needed
Qualifications and Experience
Must haves
- Strong experience in gas breakdowns
- ACS Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1
- Competence in electrical work linked to heating systems
- Good problem‑solving skills
- Full valid manual driving licence
Nice to haves
- Unvented G3 qualification
