Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience working on Substation / Transmission / Transformer / Power or similar projects? This growing company is a provider of front‑end engineering services for a varied client base working on Grid projects. They have been undergoing an exciting period of expansion since their establishment in 2021, and due to this they are looking to grow their friendly design team.
In this role you will be part of a team working on specialist protection & control projects. Your day‑to‑day work will primarily involve design work of schematics, cable blocks and diagrams, in addition to preparing bills of materials and design intent documents. You will be part of a tight‑knit team, liaising closely with other departments and clients, working primarily in office, with some client visitation and occasional WFH.
This varied role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer or similar from a Power/Transmission/Utilities background looking to join a tight‑knit team within a growing company offering a range of opportunities to upskill yourself.
The Role:- Be a part of a team carrying out end‑to‑end project work on P&C projects
- Schematic, cable block and diagram design
- Prepare bill of materials and design intent documents
- Full training provided
- Primarily office based with occasional client visitation and WFH
- Electrical Design Engineer or similar
- Background in Power Systems / Transmission / Transformer / Substation or similar projects
- Commutable to Newcastle
