Responsibilities
- Boiler Breakdown and Service Engineer: apply extensive knowledge of boiler fault finding with at least 5 years experience in the same role.
- Utilise a plumbing and heating background to assess and carry out minor plumbing tasks where needed.
- Specialise in Boiler Fault Finding, Repairs and Servicing as part of an all‑round engineering capability.
- Work locally in Hackney and represent the company in a well‑presented, polite manner.
- Operate within a local service model; ownership of boiler spares shop in Hackney where applicable.
- Receive a weekly wage paid every Friday; enjoy a fully expensed company van and full office support; optional call outs at £50–£80 per hour.
- Recognise this is a permanent position, not limited to winter seasons.
Qualifications
- Plumbing and heating background.
- Extensive knowledge of boiler fault finding.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in boiler fault finding, repairs, and servicing.
- Well‑presented, polite, with a good work ethic.
- License with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Preferably local to Hackney.
