We are actively recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out servicing and breakdown works on commercial gas equipment across the Kent and South London areas. As a Commercial Gas Engineer you will work on commercial boilers, catering gas equipment, warm air heaters, gas‑fired cabinet heaters and associated commercial gas appliances. Environments include retail stores, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, gyms and similar settings.
Employment Package
- Status: Permanent, PAYE (Paid Weekly)
- Base Salary: £47,000
- Estimated annual earnings: Up to circa £65,000
- Provided: Van, fuel card, uniform, phone, specialist tools, 29 days paid annual leave
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9‑hour working day (08:00–17:00)
- Travel time: Paid door‑to‑door minus 30 minutes each way
- Overtime: 1.5x‑2.0x rate
- Call‑out rota: 1 in 8 weeks
- Location: Kent, South London and surrounding areas
Key Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot and repair commercial gas appliances including boilers, catering gas equipment, warm air heaters and gas‑fired cabinet heaters.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform necessary repairs in retail, hospitality and fitness settings.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Hold relevant Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CAUR1 or equivalent).
- Have experience working independently as a Commercial Gas Engineer in commercial environments.
- Hold a UK driving licence with 9 points or fewer.
