Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial Gas & HVAC Engineer to join their team, supporting a portfolio of sites throughout South Wales. This senior-level position is ideal for an engineer confident working independently across a wide range of commercial environments.
You will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems, air conditioning equipment, and oil-fired plant. Sites include healthcare facilities, retail premises, education settings, and wider commercial buildings, so professionalism, strong communication, and consistently high standards of workmanship are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Installation, service, and repair of commercial gas systems
- Planned and reactive maintenance of gas and air conditioning systems
- Work on oil burners, boilers, and tanked oil systems
- Delivering high-quality work across healthcare, retail, education, and commercial sites
- Ensuring full compliance with Gas Safety, F-Gas, OFTEC, and industry standards
- Representing the company professionally on client sites across South Wales
- Minimum 10 years experience in the HVAC or commercial gas industry
- Clean UK driving licence
- Current DBS or ability to pass standard and enhanced DBS checks
- Domestic & Commercial Gas qualifications (Natural Gas & LPG)
- OFTEC certification or strong experience with oil-fired systems (desired)
- F-Gas certification or strong working knowledge of A/C service and maintenance
- Up to £50,000 basic salary (DOE)
- Door-to-door pay
