Responsibilities:
- Installing roof-mounted solar PV systems using various mounting systems, adhering to roofing best practice guides throughout.
- Carry out essential roofing tasks such as slate and tile removal or replacement, flashing work, waterproofing and general maintenance to ensure long-lasting installations.
- Running the cables/conduit and working alongside the PV Electricians, and other team members to deliver efficient and safe installations for the clients.
- Supporting the Electrician with the commissioning of the Battery Storage and Charging Systems.
- Upholding safety procedures at all times whilst maintaining a professional customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience installing Solar PV Systems on residential or commercial properties would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Proven experience as a Roofer with strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
- The ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication skills.
- Completed an apprenticeship or traineeship approved by SVQ.
- Full UK Drivers License.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is required, and candidates will undergo employment screening prior to starting employment.
